Jess Curran (she/her) is an emerging multi-disciplinary artist living and working between Bidjigal and Gadigal land in Sydney. Her practice is interested in gender, health, and the refusal of shame, working across textiles, painting, drawing and installation. Her work centres on crafting care for the self and reframing negative self-perceptions. She investigates experiences of shame in a gendered body, specifically in regards to misguided and limited understandings of health.

She finished her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at UNSW in 2024 with plans to complete her Honours in 2025.
